The French-mini festival kicks off with Van Cliburn competition medalist Benedetto Lupo and music by two beloved french composers Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel.  This extraordinary evening of music will include both Ravel’s jazz-influenced Piano Concerto in G major, and his Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. Also on the program are Debussy’s Prélude à L’Apres-midi d’un Faune and Iberia, a musical travelogue inspired by the music and culture of Spain.
