TIRED OF HIKING?

In addition to the many outdoor activities available to our guests, no visit to Chautauqua is complete without taking in one of our classical or popular concerts, a silent film, or modern dance in our stunning Auditorium. Visiting in the fall or winter? Catch a lecture on space exploration or the adventures of the world’s most incredible explorers in the historic Community House. Games for Everyone

    GAME ON!

Hiking is superb here – but we have other outdoor activities, too. Get a friendly tennis, basketball, or pickleball competition going. We also have yoga mats, frisbees, and an assortment of giant board games available for guests to check out.

    Gardens & Playground

RELAX WHILE THE LITTLE ONES PLAY

Wander through our beautiful Centennial and Waterwise gardens where you can not only relax and de-stress, but also learn more about our native Colorado plants. Children can get their wriggles out at our beautiful playground with its state-of-the-art play and climbing structures, including a mini-Auditorium and child-sized replica of the Flatirons.  Finish the day watching the sun drop behind the Flatirons, followed by a spirited board game on your cottage porch.
