OPEN POSITIONS
Weekend Facilities Technician (PM)
The Weekend Facilities Tech is a part-time (16 hours/week), non-benefited, non-exempt position, reporting Saturday and Sunday 3:00p – 11:30p. Under limited supervision, this position performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on Chautauqua facilities, structures, and grounds. Additionally, assists front desk with amenity deliveries. The role is specifically designed to deliver exceptional customer service as well as helping with day-to-day maintenance operations. Holiday work could be required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.
Starting Hourly Rate: $23.00/hour

Production/Technical Manager
The Production and Technical Manager is a full-time, year-round, benefited, exempt position having overall responsibility for coordinating and the execution of audio/visual and production needs for all private and public events at Chautauqua. This position acts as Production Manager throughout Chautauqua’s multiple venues, managing year-round, part-time, and seasonal staff, and responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and life cycle of Chautauqua’s tech inventory. A high volume of work is to be expected from March through September during and in preparation for the summer season. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, this position is considered essential.
Starting Salary: $62,400 – $68,000 annually

Assistant Box Office Manager
The Assistant Box Office Manager (ABOM) is a full-time benefited, exempt, position responsible for various day shift and night of show box office responsibilities for the Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) and Colorado Music Festival (CMF). The Assistant Box Office Manager will act as Manager on Duty when Box Office Manager (BOM) is not present. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes this position is non-essential.

Seasonal Box Office Staff
Box Office Staff is a seasonal (mid-April thru early October), part-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position responsible for carrying out box office activities such as ticket sales, phone inquiries, and night-of-show customer service in an often fast-paced environment. Seasonal Event/Parking Staff
Seasonal Event/Parking Staff is a seasonal (mid-May thru early October), part-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position having responsibility for creating a positive and safe guest service experience, as well as ensuring the general up-keep, cleanliness, and security of events at the Chautauqua Auditorium. Additionally, this position will be tasked with monitoring parking and traffic flow for guests, artist, staff, and volunteers for Chautauqua events. Evening and weekend work is required.

Seasonal Gardeners
Are you a budding horticulturist interested in gardening in one of the most beautiful settings in Colorado? The Colorado Chautauqua Association has begun accepting applications for a limited number of Seasonal Gardener positions for the 2023 season. This is a seasonal position responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all landscape and garden features within Chautauqua Park, including flowers, shrubs, trees, groundcovers, planters, niche cottage gardens, and lawns. Some weekend and holiday work may be required.
