Production and Technical Manager

The Production and Technical Manager is a full-time, year-round, benefited, exempt position responsible for coordinating the execution of all CCA presented and co-produced public events at Chautauqua, including on-site execution of all front of house, all audio/visual aspects of event production, security and parking functions. This position acts as Manager on Duty throughout entire day of event and is responsible for ensuring the general upkeep, cleanliness and security of the Auditorium, Community House and surrounding areas. A high volume of work is to be expected from March through September, in preparation for and during the summer season, which runs mid-May through late September. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, as it relates to public programs, this position is essential.

Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, benefited, exempt position responsible for supervising year-round and contract housekeeping staff, managing onsite laundry operation, ensuring quality controls for housekeeping functions, and communicating with the Facilities and Preservation function to schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance on rental properties. Seasonal Housekeeper

Now hiring three seasonal housekeepers to work April 1 – September 28. This is a non-exempt, non-benefited position, responsible for performing housekeeping duties in rental cottages and public buildings in a timely manner while meeting established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience, a great attitude and an eye for cleanliness, takes pride in what they do, and is committed to excellence. Weekend and some evening work is required in meeting position responsibilities. Shifts are scheduled in between the hours of 7 AM – 11 PM, up to 40 hours per week. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.
