Lead Associate, General Store

The Lead Associate is an integral part of the General Store team. This is a full-time, benefited position. This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering questions, taking orders, preparing and serving food and drinks, assisting guests with merchandise sales and questions, and maintaining a clean and inviting retail space and food service. This position also includes assisting the General Store Manager, as needed, in the procurement and inventory processes for the store. During our high season, May through September, this role will provide leadership and training of other Associates and Seasonal Baristas. Shifts will vary and will include a mix of weekdays and weekends. This person will serve as Manager on Duty on Saturdays and Sundays, weekly. This position has potential for growth as the needs of The General Store’s daily operations continue to develop. For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential.

Box Office Manager

The Box Office Manager is a full-time year-round, exempt position having overall responsibility for seamless operation and management of CCA’s Ticketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software, which includes database, membership, development, reporting and box office functions for Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) and its customers. Seasonal House Manager

The Seasonal House Manager is a seasonal, part-time, non-exempt position having overall responsibility for on-site execution of front of house and parking functions for public events at Chautauqua, as well as responsible for the general up-keep, cleanliness and security of the Auditorium, Community House, and surrounding areas. Seasonal Guest Service Agent

Seasonal Guest Service Agent is a non-exempt, non-benefitted position. Number of hours worked, and schedules are determined by occupancy April 1 through September 28. The Seasonal Guest Service Agent duties include; assisting visitors, registering guests, managing reservations and providing detailed information about cottages/units, rates and amenities. General Manager, Hospitality

The General Manager, Hospitality (GMH) is responsible for ensuring a consistently high-quality visitor experience through the seamless integration and management of CCA’s lodging operation, including Facilities and Preservation, Front Desk and Housekeeping Departments.

The GMH reports to and works closely with the Director of Operations (DOO). The DOO provides overarching vision and oversees the operational functions that support CCA’s lodging arm, while the GMH provides direction to the managers responsible for the lodging departments themselves.
