Sales & Experiences Coordinator

The Sales & Experiences Coordinator is a year-round, benefited, non-exempt position, whose responsibilities include tracking and measurement of sales leads, coordinating site visits and hosting tours, conference services, generating contracts and managing billing, and coordination of client requests.  Some evening and occasional weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered non-essential. Starting hourly rate: $22 per hour

Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager is a full-time, benefited, exempt position responsible for supervising year-round and contract housekeeping staff, managing onsite laundry operation, ensuring quality controls for housekeeping functions, and communicating with the Facilities and Preservation function to schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance on rental properties. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential. Starting Salary: $58,000 – $60,000.

Sustainability Coordinator

The Sustainability Coordinator is a part-time, non-benefited, non-exempt position assisting in the development, coordination, and administration of sustainability programs, researching, and making recommendations on policy within the area of sustainability at the Colorado Chautauqua. This position works closely with all departments to coordinate preservation and sustainability initiatives and projects and is also responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to Preservation and Sustainability. This positions reports to the Director of Preservation and Sustainability and works with staff throughout the organization. Some evening and occasional weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered non-essential. Starting hourly rate: $22 per hour.

Part-Time Seasonal Guest Service Agent

Part-Time Seasonal Guest Service Agent is a part-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position. Number of hours worked, and schedules are determined by occupancy April 15 through October 13. The Part-Time Seasonal Guest Service Agent duties include assisting visitors, registering guests, managing reservations, and providing detailed information about cottages/units, rates, and amenities.   Shifts will vary from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and will include a mix of weekdays and weekends.  For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential. Compensation: $16 per hour.

Guest Service Agent

The Guest Service Agent is a full time flex (32-40 hrs/wk), benefited, non-exempt position, with responsibilities which include assisting visitors, registering guests, managing reservations, and providing detailed information about cottages/units, rates, and amenities.   Shifts will vary from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and will include a mix of weekdays and weekends.  For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential. Compensation: $17 per hour.

Seasonal Houseperson

The Seasonal Houseperson is a seasonal (mid-April thru early October) full-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position responsible for performing a variety of tasks in guest services, housekeeping, the care and maintenance of public buildings, working with the housekeeping team to deliver a consistently high-quality visitor experience for Chautauqua’s day and overnight guests. Variable shifts likely, and evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.  Rate of pay $17.00 per hour.

Public Facilities Custodian

The Public Facilities Custodian is a full-time, non-exempt, benefited position. Responsibilities include general, routine custodial duties of all public buildings, minor maintenance, event set-up, and general support of hospitality team. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities.  For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential. Rate of pay $18.00 per hour.
