Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is assistant to the Housekeeping Manager (HM). The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, non-exempt, benefited position. Responsibilities include hands-on oversight of the department’s daily tasks, including but not limited to general housekeeping duties; training and managing quality assurance; oversight of department and staff when Housekeeping Manager is off-duty, and consistently ensuring a high-quality visitor experience for CCA guests. Schedule flexibility, including weekend, holidays, and evenings are required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, this position is considered essential.

Starting Hourly Rate: $21-23 per hour, dependent upon skill level and experience

Assistant Manager, Facilities & Preservation

The Facilities and Preservation Assistant Manager (FPAM) is a full-time, benefited, exempt position. This is a hands-on managerial role engaged with the oversight, planning and execution of all maintenance, repair, and alteration of historic buildings and grounds within the Colorado Chautauqua leasehold. The facilities team works closely with the hospitality and events teams in coordinating maintenance and repairs, vendor relationships, and event set-up as needed. Additionally, the role is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to facilities and grounds maintenance. The position reports tot he Facilities and Preservation Manager (FPM). Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, as it relates to public programs, this position is essential.

Starting Hourly Rate: $58,000-$62,000

Production/Technical Manager

The Production and Technical Manager is a part-time, year-round, hourly position having overall responsibility for coordinating and the execution of audio/visual and production needs for all public events at Chautauqua. This position acts as Production Manager at the Chautauqua Auditorium and Chautauqua Community House public events, managing year-round, part-time and seasonal staff, and responsible for ensuring the general maintenance and life cycle of Chautauqua’s tech inventory.  A high volume of work is to be expected from March through September during and in preparation for the summer season. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, as it relates to public programs, this position is essential.

Starting Hourly Rate: $28-$30/hour

Director of Development

The Director of Development is a full-time, benefited, exempt position, working closely with the Chief Executive Officer to design and implement strategies that ensure successful organizational fundraising, including all activities related to the cultivation and solicitation of individual, corporate, foundation, grant and government support, as well as major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, special events and capital campaigns.

Houseperson

Houseperson is a full-time, non-exempt, benefited position. Responsibilities include general, routine custodial duties of all public buildings, minor maintenance, event set-up, and general support of hospitality team. Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.

PT Housekeeper

The PT Housekeeper is a part-time, non-exempt position. The PT Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for performing housekeeping duties in rental properties and public buildings in a timely manner, meeting established quality standards. Weekend and some evening work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.
