OPEN POSITIONS

Wedding & Social Events Manager

The Wedding & Social Events Manager is a full-time, year-round, benefited, exempt position focused on contracting and planning social events held in CCA venues. This position is the main contact for client inquiries, site tours, catering detail meetings, documentation (by way of Banquet Event Orders) all event billing and communicating with CCA’s catering services, and all CCA operational departments. Working weekends, as well as some evenings, is required to meet position responsibilities. For emergency or inclement weather reporting purposes this position is essential.

Starting salary: $58,000 annually

Facilities & Preservation Assistant Manager

The Facilities and Preservation Assistant Manager (FPAM) is a full-time, benefited, exempt position. This is a hands-on managerial role engaged with the oversight, planning and execution of all maintenance, repair, and alteration of historic buildings and grounds within the Colorado Chautauqua leasehold. The FPAM works closely with the hospitality and events teams in coordinating maintenance and repairs, vendor relationships, and event set-up as needed. Additionally, the role is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks related to facilities and grounds maintenance. The position reports to the Facilities and Preservation Manager (FPM). Evening, weekend, and holiday work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential.

Starting salary range: $56,000 – 58,000 annually

Facilities Maintenance Technician I

The Facilities Maintenance Technician I is a full-time, benefited, non-exempt position. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks on Chautauqua facilities, structures, and grounds. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required in meeting position responsibilities. For on-call emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential.

Starting hourly rate: $21.00 – 24.00

Housekeeping Supervisor

This position is assistant to the Housekeeping Manager (HM).  The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, non-exempt, benefited position.  Responsibilities include hands-on oversight of the department’s daily tasks, including but not limited to general housekeeping duties; private event set-up and breakdown, training and managing quality assurance; oversight of department and staff when Housekeeping Manager is off-duty, and consistently ensuring a high-quality visitor experience for CCA guests.  Schedule flexibility, including weekend, holidays, and evenings are required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.

Houseperson

Houseperson is a full-time, non-exempt, non-benefited position, responsible for performing a variety of tasks in guest services, housekeeping, the care and maintenance of public buildings, working with the housekeeping team to deliver a consistently high-quality visitor experience for Chautauqua’s day and overnight guests. Variable shifts likely, and evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.

Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is a full time, non-exempt position. The Housekeeper is responsible for performing housekeeping duties in rental cottages and public buildings in a timely manner, meeting established quality standards.  Weekend and some evening work are required in meeting position responsibilities.  For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.
