SUPPORT YOUR CHAUTAUQUA

The Auditorium Project
Join us on a once-in-a-generation journey as we transform the Historic Auditorium into a year-round space that inspires, engages, and connects people from around the world. This innovative project will add more than 200 days of programming each year while preserving and protecting one of Chautauqua’s most treasured historic landmarks.
The winterized design includes additional insulation, radiant heat floors powered by a new geothermal system, and removable insulated wall panels to keep the space warm in winter. The project will ensure the Auditorium remains a vibrant community asset for generations to come while preserving the barn-like charm and character that define the Chautauqua experience.
Name A Seat In The Auditorium
Leave Your Legacy at the Chautauqua Auditorium by naming a seat! Since 1898, the Chautauqua Auditorium has echoed with the sounds of music, laughter, applause and shared moments that define Boulder’s cultural heartbeat. Now, you have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a permanent part of this treasured landmark.
Sponsor a seat, or several seats, to honor friends and family, celebrate a memory, or simply show your enduring love for the arts and our historic community space.
Your name and personal message will be displayed in a place of honor—seen by tens of thousands of guests who attend world-class performances, concerts, films and events each year.
Commemorative Bricks
Become a part of the Colorado Chautauqua’s lasting legacy by purchasing a commemorative brick engraved with your personal message and installed along the path in our beautiful Centennial Garden. This is a great way to celebrate a milestone or to honor a special friend or family member.
The Flatirons Fund
Established in 2024, this fund provides Chautauqua with a strategic reserve to ensure it has the resources to withstand an unexpected business interruption and to fund non-routine restoration projects, and acquisitions of historic cottages in need of rehabilitation. Please reach out and we’ll walk through the next steps.
