Visitor Experiences
Chautauqua offers a variety of opportunities to make our visitor and guest experience even more memorable. If you love meeting people from around the world and would like to help us share the history and spirit of Chautauqua, please consider joining our Visitor Experiences Volunteer Team.
As a member of this team, you may play the role of docent or ambassador, sharing the history and spirit of our National Historic Landmark and the beauty of the surrounding area, through group hikes, history tours, a variety of retreats and field trips.

Corporate & Group
Corporate and group volunteering can be a win-win for you and for Chautauqua!
If you have an interest in setting up volunteer opportunities for your employees or your group with us, please fill out our application. Our Volunteer Program Manager will then reach out to discuss options for dates and activities that could benefit your company or group and our non-profit organization!

Periodically, we need people with time and talent to share, including those with administrative, accounting, fundraising, translation, and project management expertise.

Concerts & Events
Concert & Event Volunteering is currently full for 2024!
Chautauqua offers a wide variety of concerts, films, dance performances, speakers, forums and free community events and festivals throughout the year. Our Concerts & Events Volunteers are integral to helping us provide a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests. Volunteer activities include greeting patrons, ushering, answering questions, assisting with set up and break down and general customer service.
