GUEST FAMILY FUN

FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES

Explore Chautauqua during your family vacation. We’ve collected a list of the best activities to do with children of all ages!

Kid-Friendly Hiking

ADVENTURE AWAITS!

Chautauqua is a hiker’s paradise with 40 miles of trails in every direction at all levels of difficulty. Dogs love our hikes and are allowed on most trails (and in many of our cottages). Don’t forget to stock up with water, snacks, dog toys and sunscreen from the General Store before you set off.  The promise of a post hike ice cream or hot chocolate works wonders for less enthusiastic walkers! Check out this Boulder CVB guide to Chautauqua hikes. For a quick, easy and beautiful hike all the family will love, we recommend Enchanted Mesa Trail or Bluebell Mesa.
