Ride the FREE HOP 2 Chautauqua – The Ultimate Carpool!

Established in 1898, the Colorado Chautauqua was developed without consideration of automobile use and has extremely limited parking within.

Join us in being part of the solution to help reduce congestion and “be green”  by riding the HOP 2 Chautauqua, a free transit service to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events.

Buses begin approximately 90 minutes before showtime and arrive approximately every 15-20 minutes until 30 minutes after the performance begins. Please see event schedule below for exact start times. All inbound buses drop off on Baseline between 10th and Lincoln Place (Trolley Stop at Chautauqua Park). It is approximately a 4 minute walk, with an elevation gain of 100 feet, from the bus stop to the Auditorium.

ADA ACCESSIBILITY

All HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttles are ADA compliant “kneeling” buses. All inbound buses drop off on Baseline between 10th and Lincoln Place (Trolley Stop at Chautauqua Park). A new accessible ramp has been installed at this stop.

For guests who require an accessible drop at the Auditorium, the most convenient access is from New Vista High School. A Via MV1  accessible vehicle will pick up ADA guests at New Vista High School. This vehicle runs during inbound service only.

At the end of the performance, all outbound HOP buses will pick up all patrons, including ADA guests, on the east side of the Auditorium and run for 45 minutes after the end of each show.

PARKING LOTS FOR HOP 2 CHAUTAUQUA

The most ample and free 24 hour parking (to Boulder County residents) is at the 27th Way Park-n-Ride.
Additional free parking is available on concert nights at New Vista High School (700 20th St Boulder,) and after hours at various city lots in downtown Boulder.
