Flatiron Sounds Music Festival
Celebrate summer in Boulder at Chautauqua’s Flatiron Sounds Music Festival, a free, family-friendly event set against the iconic Flatirons. Held on Sunday, June 21 (Father’s Day) from 1–8 PM, the festival features live performances from Neal Francis, Lindsay Lou, Armchair Boogie, Blessing Bled Chimanga, and Pick & Howl. Enjoy a full day of live music, local food vendors, craft beer from 4Noses, and an artisan market at one of Boulder’s most scenic outdoor venues.

GETTING HERE
Flatiron Sounds Music Festival is held at Chautauqua Park
900 Baseline Road, Boulder
Chautauqua Park has limited parking! Public transportation, ridesharing, or biking is recommended.
PARKING
Parking will be VERY limited at Chautauqua, and attendees are encouraged to carpool, use public transportation, or use ridesharing taxis.
Where to park at Chautauqua: On Baseline Road, at the main trailhead parking lot, in the neighborhoods north of Baseline Road, or east of 12th Street. Parking around the Green at Chautauqua Park will be restricted.
ADA PARKING
ADA parking will be available to the West (Kinnikinnick Road). Additional ADA parking will be available at the Chautauqua Trailhead or the Academic Hall.
SHUTTLE

RESTROOMS
Portable restrooms will be located inside the festival, with additional restrooms at the Ranger Cottage, the Trailhead, and the lower level of the Chautauqua Dining Hall.
ACCESSIBILITY
ADA Parking
ADA parking will be available to the West (Kinnikinnick Road). Additional handicapped parking will be available at the Chautauqua Trailhead, or the Academic Hall.
The Festival takes place on the Chautauqua Green, a wide grassy lawn.
DOG FRIENDLY
Dogs are allowed but must be on leash. Pick up after your pet.
PERMITTED & PROHIBITED ITEMS
For the safety of our Festival attendees, the following items are not permitted:
- Glass bottles/objects
- Illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, marijuana or cannabis products
- Weapons or items construed as weapons (i.e. knives, Leatherman’s, pepper spray, stun-guns, firearms, etc.)
- Laser pointers / pens, glow sticks
- Air horns, bullhorns, whistles, noisemakers, etc.
- Sparklers, fireworks, smoke bombs, lighters, etc.
- Bicycles – can be parked outside, and cannot be brought in.
- Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
- Drones, remote controlled flying devices or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles)
- Large tarps
- No shade structure or tents may be staked in the ground
- Other items as determined by event management
- No outside alcohol is permitted inside the Festival. Beer, wine, and spirits will be available for purchase inside for ages 21+
- No smoking of any sort, such as tobacco, marijuana, or vaping, is permitted
- Large items (over 10’x10′)
Permitted Items:
- Blankets
- Lawn chairs
- Umbrellas
- Aluminum and plastic water bottles
- Phones and cameras without removable lenses
- Binoculars
- Large umbrellas (must stay behind the soundboard)
