Weddings and Celebrations

Thank you for choosing Chautauqua for your special occasion. The Chautauqua Dining Hall is proud to be the exclusive provider for events held within the park. Menu options for your evening affair can be tailored to fit your unique catering needs with and without full-service staffing. We are happy to customize menus to fit a variety of budgets, varying tastes, and dietary restrictions.

General Information

Requests for catering services are accommodated up to 72 hours prior to your event. Each Chautauqua venue has a required food and beverage minimum. A minimum guest count of eight (8) is required. We are happy to accommodate catered events in your lodge or cottage. Please ask your coordinator for more details.

Special Requests

Our catering coordinators are ready to build a customized menu based on your personal preferences and budget. In addition to Colorado Bistro inspired menus, we specialize in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, ask your event coordinator how to create a menu that will satisfy all your needs.

Coordination

All you do is show up! Our talented coordinators will take care of the rest. Special orders to compliment your affair are managed for you throughout the planning process, including custom linens, specialty tables and chairs, specialty china, dishware, flatware, and décor elements. Our team is ready to plan, care for and execute every detail of your event. A 2.5% coordination fee applies.

Equipment

Standard chairs, tables and linens are included with the rental of your venue. Help us save water and take advantage of the complimentary compostable plates, cups and cutlery included with your catering. Porcelain china, glassware, & silverware can be rented at $3/person. Depending on the event timeframe, group size and menu service, added staff may be necessary when renting porcelain and glassware.

Audiovisual 

We are happy to arrange audio and visual rentals to support your meeting. Be sure to ask our coordinator how we can meet your needs.

Staffing

Staffing requirements are based on the number of guests you guarantee and the type of event.  Your coordinator will discuss the details with you.

Service Fees

A 20% service and 15% automatic gratuity fee is assessed on all food and beverage items including bar and attended buffet service. All fees are subject to 8.995% sales tax.

Lodging

As a gesture of appreciation for choosing Chautauqua to host your wedding, group wedding blocks are available when booking 10 or more cottages. Blackout dates may apply. Please email [email protected] or call 303-952-1612.
