Gardens & Greens Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Chautauqua’s Gardens & Greens volunteers fall into two categories:

Horticulture Volunteers with extensive gardening experience or Master Gardener status.

Landscape Volunteers without as much experience, but who want to help beautify our grounds while learning more about horticulture.

We ask our Gardens & Greens volunteers to be available one day a week, or on a bi-weekly basis throughout the Spring, Summer, and Autumn months. Opportunities will be available in the Winter months if volunteers are interested.  A typical Gardens & Greens shift will be 2-4 hours and will require outdoor physical activity.

All Gardens & Greens applicants will be subject to a pre-acceptance in-person interview to determine abilities and fit within the program.
