2023 New Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!

Chautauqua Event Volunteers greet and welcome guests, provide excellent customer service, apply wristbands, usher patrons to their seats, perform light set up and strike duties, fulfill a variety of positions during our WinterFest celebration, and help in a variety of ways at Chautauqua Community Events.

The minimum commitment is at least five events spread throughout the year (in the Auditorium, the Community House, Community Events and for WinterFest)from May 2023 to April 2024. Typical events require a roughly 4.5 hour commitment and standing for extended periods of time. WinterFest volunteer positions may require being outside when it’s cold.  All volunteers must complete a two-hour required Orientation and Safety Training session.

This application is for new volunteers or former volunteers who haven’t volunteered in over two years. If you are a recently returning volunteer, please fill out the Returning Volunteer Application instead. Thank you.

How many years have you volunteered at Chautauqua? (If you have volunteered in the past two years, please fill out the Returning Volunteer Application)

What is your t-shirt size? (Please note: our shirts run small)

Are you willing to volunteer for a minimum of five events from May 2023 to April 2024 (including Auditorium and Community House shows, WinterFest, and Community Events TBA)?

Are you available to attend ONE Volunteer Orientation on either Saturday, May 20th or Wednesday, May 30th?
