Because we are located at the base of the Boulder Flatirons mountain range, Chautauqua weather can change unexpectedly. If you are planning an outside ceremony, we recommend booking a “weather back-up venue” – just in case.

Do you provide a complimentary back up venue?

Our unique event spaces fill up quickly so we do not hold complimentary back- up spaces unless specifically booked.

May we bring decorations for the reception and ceremony?

In most cases, yes – reach out to our catering services department to find out more.

May we bring in outside food and beverages?

Sorry. The Chautauqua Dining Hall is the exclusive catering provider for events booked in the park. No outside food and/or beverages are allowed.

When you reserve a wedding room block for your guests, you enjoy:

  • A complimentary, upgraded guest room
  • A welcome amenity for the happy couple
  • A full-service room coordinator and master billing
