SUMMARY:La Llorona
DESCRIPTION:*La Llorona theatre hikes take place every Saturday and Sunday starting Saturday\, September 20 through Sunday\, October 26 \nThis event is for patrons ages 10 years old and over. \nPlease check in at the picnic shelter behind the Chautauqua Auditorium. Check-in begins at 2 pm and theatre hikes start promptly at 3 pm. \nLa Llorona by Miguel Muñoz \nIn this bold new adaptation of La Llorona\, the chilling legend is reimagined along the winding trails of Chautauqua Park. As the tale unfolds\, audiences will be drawn into a world where the line between myth and reality blurs\, leaving them to ponder the unseen dangers that lurk in the shadows. \nCheck-in and meet at the picnic pavilion behind the Chautauqua Auditorium. Our hikes are usually at a moderate level/pace and last no more than 2 hours. When you first arrive\, you will be greeted by your hiking guide who will lead the way down the trail to each scene location. Once you arrive at a scene location\, you can sit back and relax and watch a scene from the production. Once the scene is complete\, we all gather our things and hike to the next location. \nDuring an Arts in the Open production\, you will be hiking along a moderate trail. We encourage all audience members to wear proper hiking attire and shoes. We also recommend you bring water\, snacks\, hats\, umbrellas\, sunscreen\, blankets to sit on\, and/or lightweight camping chairs. Water and granola bars will be available for a suggested donation.
