In commemoration of Rocky Mountain National Park’s centennial anniversary, the Colorado Music Festival joins creative forces with photographer John Fielder. Experience the majesty and grandeur of Fielder’s iconic nature photography as images from his Rocky Mountain National Park and other Colorado collections are projected on screen above the orchestra. The photos are choreographed with two symphonic works inextricably linked to nature: Sibelius’ 5th Symphony and Beethoven’s 6th Symphony, “Pastoral.” Whether Fielder’s spectacular images provide the music with new meaning or Beethoven inspires you to see nature in a new way, this is a program that you don’t want to miss.
