Join us for evening of stories through music at this Fresh Friday* concert. Mined from the gorgeous songs of the musical “West Side Story,” Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances re-imagines Shakespeare’s tragic lovers “Romeo and Juliet” in gang-plagued 1950’s New York. John Adams’s thrilling and disturbing “Doctor Atomic Symphony” (adapted from his opera Doctor Atomic) seeks to portray the ambition and agony of Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer as he unleashed the power of the atom at the Trinity test site in 1945.

*Fresh Fridays: A concert experience – remixed. An hour-long (intermission free) concert starts at 6:30 PM, so you’ll still have time to go out for post-concert dinner and drinks – the night is still young!
