Just Announced: Missy Raines and The New Hip – May 6

Bass virtuoso and 7-time International Bluegrass Music Association bass player of the year, Missy Raines joins the Chautauqua Community House series line-up on Friday, May 6. Missy Raines is one of the most respected, popular, and trailblazing figures in bluegrass and Americana music. On her latest release “New Frontier,” Missy explores her dusky, emotive alto, layered among the cool grooves and expansive soundscapes provided by her band, The New Hip. The new album is certain to expand Raines’ profile in roots music and surprise anyone who thought her talents were limited to the bluegrass and new acoustic music. Friday, May 6. 7:30 PM. CITY OF BOULDER PROJECTS AT CHAUTAUQUA

Chautauqua Pedestrian Safety, Access and Lighting Improvements Project Open House -Thursday, October 15

The City of Boulder wants to make Chautauqua safer for our community. Last year, voters approved the Community, Culture and Safety Tax which calls for pedestrian, safety and lighting improvements in key places. The City of Boulder plans to start work in winter 2016 and finish in spring 2017.

Come to the City of Boulder’s OPEN HOUSE and share your thoughts on the initial designs! Thursday, October 15 , 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Rocky Mountain Climber’s Club, Chautauqua Community House .

The Chautauqua Dining Hall is now accepting reservations for Thanksgiving dinner – Thursday, November 26th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
