Racing Extinction – October 20

Explore global loss of wildlife in the new documentary “Racing Extinction” by Oscar-winning filmmaker Louis Psihoyos. By alerting people of the hidden world of extinction, the film calls viewers to unite with activists to make a difference. Venus Cruz – October 21

Winner of Westword’s 2012 Best R&B Vocalist Award and host of the “Jazz Odyssey” on KUVO 89.3 FM, Venus Cruz’s improvisation and soulful delivery transcend genres. This intimate concert will feature Venus performing original compositions as well as modern takes on classic jazz standards. She will be joined by Mikey Smith (guitar) and Mark Emmons (percussion). The Treasures of Toothless Jack – October 22 – 30

Gather the family and kids for a hiking play adventure!
Remember those books where you got to choose your own adventure? In “The Treasures of Toothless Jack” by Joaquin Aviña, audience members will choose the path of the play’s two friends as they are pulled into a mystery, challenge bad guys and search for lost treasure. Will it lead to countless riches or will they face a less fortunate fate?

First Bite Boulder is an annual celebration highlighting Boulder’s growing dining scene.
