HISTORIC HOMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS TOURHistoric Boulder’s 31st annual tour comes to Chautauqua – December 6 & 7One of Boulder’s most enduring holiday traditions, Historic Boulder’s 31st annual Historic Homes for the Holidays features the charm, history and architecture of the Colorado Chautauqua – a National Historic Landmark. Tour cottages, long-time community gathering places, shop the holiday boutique and enjoy the sounds of the season performed by the Boulder Chorale. Featured cottages, lodges and buildings on the tour will include: Gwenthean Cottage (Cottage 29, b. 1899), the Rest Cottage (#410, b.1900 ), Morning Glory Cottage (#306, b. 1914), the San Antonio Teachers Cottage (#501, b. 1901), Chautauqua Dining Hall (b.1898), Missions House Lodge (b. 1911), and Chautauqua Community House (b.1918). A complete map of privately-owned and Chautauqua cottages and lodges on the tour will be available at the Community House day of event. Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7. 11 AM – 4 PM. MUSICA Winter’s World of Song – December 13Join us to celebrate a world of holiday song and music. Steve Mullins (acoustic guitar) has assembled an amazing group of vocalists and musicians to perform this special concert. Featured artists include Julie Lancaster (director of Planina), Meagan Chandler (flamenco and Middle Eastern vocalist), Beth Gadbaw (Celtic vocals),Gloria Vera(South American vocals) and Sandra Wong (violin, nyckelharpa).

CHAUTAUQUA DINING HALLThanksgiving serviceThe Dining Hall is currently accepting names for a Cancellation Wait List on Thanksgiving. Open from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM, the Thanksgiving menu will include a family style appetizer course, salad, a choice of five entrees including a vegetarian option, and a choice of five dessert items. Pricing is $36 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under and does not include beverages, tax, or gratuity. Afternoon Tea service November 24 – January 4Relax with family & friends over Afternoon Tea. Served daily from 2 – 4 PM Monday, November 24 through Sunday, January 4. Afternoon Tea service includes a classic, three-tiered assortment of fresh baked sweet & savory pastries, scones, tea sandwiches, sweet cakes and a pot of premium tea. $22 per guest, reservations required 24 hours in advance.
