Boulder Concert Band on the Green – July 4

Gather your friends and family and join us tomorrow on the Chautauqua Green for our 120th birthday!

This family-friendly celebration features two sets of Americana music by one of the premier community bands in the state, Boulder Concert Band. Consisting of over 70 volunteer musicians, the band’s performance will feature a wide variety of traditional patriotic music including John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” starring any kid conductor willing to give it a try.

Bring your appetite and let the staff of the Chautauqua Dining Hall take care of the rest. Serving delicious BBQ-style cuisine on the stone patio and baked goods, grab-n-go snacks and $1.20 single-scoop ice cream in the General Store, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION

Participate in the 2018 annual election

Online voting for the 2018-19 Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) Board of Directors begins Thursday, July 5 at noon and runs through 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23. CCA bylaws require that 10% of our members vote to achieve a quorum. Every vote counts!

Join us for the Candidate Forum on Thursday, July 5 at 5:30 p.m. and meet the candidates. This is a great opportunity to hear from the candidates and ask them questions. The 2018 Election Schedule below outlines important dates for reference.

The election results will be announced at the end of the Annual Meeting, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23rd in the Grand Assembly Hall of the Community House. All members of record as of Thursday, July 5, 2018 are invited to participate. Renew your membership or join online here.
