Leo Kottke & James McMurtry – June 14

Innovative acoustic guitar virtuoso Leo Kottke returns to the Chautauqua Auditorium with his sporadic singing style, an unconventional yet expressive baritone accompanied by acoustic playing on 6- and 12- string guitars. Mary Chapin Carpenter – June 23

Since the 1987 release of her debut album “Hometown Girl”, Mary Chapin Carpenter’s career has been defined by fearless creativity and excitement. Her newest album, “Sometimes Just The Sky,” released March 30, 2018, is a celebration of her acclaimed 30-year recording career. Grab a Bite Before the Show!

On concert nights, try the open-air concessions at the Picnic Shelter, located on the south side of the Auditorium. Select from an assortment of entrees, desserts and cold beverages including wine and local craft beer to satisfy the hungers and thirsts of every age. Concessions open two hours prior to show time.

Ride the free HOP 2 Chautauqua to concerts this summer

Join us in being part of the solution to reduce congestion and “be green” by riding the HOP 2 Chautauqua, a free transit service to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events. All HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttles are ADA compliant “kneeling” buses and begin running approximately 90 minutes before show time and run for 45 minutes after the show. Ride the Park to Park free shuttle on Saturdays and Sundays through September 3

Enjoy a convenient, stress-free way to access Chautauqua. The City of Boulder’s Park to Park program aims to create a better visitor experience while reducing vehicular and parking impacts on neighbors and the area’s natural and cultural resources. The Park to Park free shuttle service runs Saturday and Sunday, plus holidays, from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM from convenient and free satellite parking lots throughout Boulder.

Interested in serving on the CCA Board of Directors?

There will be three openings on the 15-person Colorado Chautauqua Association (CCA) Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning September 1, 2018. CCA members interested in seeking election to the CCA Board this summer must complete and submit electronically the CCA Board of Directors Candidate Application for receipt no later than 5:00 p.m. MDT on Monday, June 25th in order to be included on the 2018 ballot.
