Jeffrey Kiehl is a senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, a certified Jungian analyst and author of the new book “Facing Climate Change: An Integrated Path to the Future.” Marda Kirn is a producer and the founding director of Boulder non-profit EcoArts Connections. Mudbloods: a Film about Quidditch – April 22

Transforming Harry Potter’s fictional competition into a co-ed, physically demanding, real-life sport, quidditch has secured its place as one of the fastest growing collegiate club sports today. “Mudbloods” follows the resilient underdogs of the UCLA quidditch team as they help transform fictional sport into a real-life phenomenon and make their way to the fifth annual quidditch world cup in New York City. Ally Whitney former captain of the Boggarts Quidditch Club at Colorado State University and now a quidditch player in Denver will lead the post-screening discussion. Friday, April 22. 7:30 PM. PRESERVATION

Patio and restroom repairs underway at the Dining Hall

Colorado Chautauqua Association crews are currently working at the Dining Hall to refurbish and repair the flagstone terrace in front of the restaurant. Areas being repaired will be coned off and access to the Dining Hall will be maintained.

In addition, the City of Boulder is remodeling the public restrooms under the Dining Hall. The restrooms will remain closed until anticipated project completion in April. The public is advised to use the public restrooms located at the Ranger Cottage during this closure.
