Melissa Etheridge – July 8

You know her from her popular songs, “Bring Me Some Water, “No Souvenirs” and “Ain’t It Heavy,” but Melissa Etheridge’s popularity spans much wider since her 2016 hit song “Pulse” was released. Her tribute to the Orland shootings reached a new wave of fans and touched the lives of many with her proceeds benefitting the Equality Florida organization. This Grammy and Oscar winner is no stranger to the limelight with her one-week appearance on Broadway in the rocker opera, “American Idiot,” alongside her two and a half years on the album chart with “Yes I Am.”

Join Melissa Etheridge for an evening of unforgettable songs and new music from her forthcoming album, “The Medicine Show.” Monday, July 8. 7:30 PM. Chautauqua Auditorium. Buy tickets online

Your Life, Your Legacy – June 10

Planning for the future can be challenging. From college to vacation to retirement, all of us make plans for the future. One thing we don’t always talk about is our legacy and what we leave behind.

In many families, planning for the future can be an uncomfortable but necessary conversation. Planning and having these discussions in advance can help make the important decisions less stressful so you can focus on what’s important: your legacy and family.

Come join us and Matt Fox, General Manager of Crist Mortuary & Mountain View Memorial Park, for a conversation on the value and impact of pre-planning your legacy and how to help your loved ones be prepared. Monday, June 10. 5:30 PM. Chautauqua Community House.

This event is free and open to the public. Coffee and cookies will be served. Please RSVP to Clare Zell at
