Unearth an ancient civilization with explorer Dr. Chris Fisher on February 16!

In 2012, a team of archaeologists, including Fisher, boarded a single-engine plane in search of an ancient city deep in the jungles of Honduras. A 500-year-old legend warned that anyone who entered the lost city would fall ill and die. On their journey, Fisher and the team faced torrential rains, disease-carrying insects, snakes and jaguars. While Fisher escaped unscathed, some members did contract a sometimes lethal-and incurable-disease.

In February 2015, the team entered the ruins in the remote region known as La Mosquitia and have uncovered and removed more than 200 sculptures from the center of the site.
