JUST ANNOUNCED: An Evening with Pat Metheny, September 21

After multiple gold records and 20 Grammy Awards, Pat Metheny continues to be one of the brightest stars of the jazz community, dedicating time to both his own projects and those of emerging artists and established veterans alike, helping them to reach their audience as well as realizing their own artistic visions.

Over the years, he has performed with artists as diverse as Steve Reich to Ornette Coleman to Herbie Hancock to Jim Hall to Milton Nascimento to David Bowie. Metheny’s body of work includes compositions for solo guitar, small ensembles, electric and acoustic instruments, large orchestras, and ballet pieces and even the robotic instruments of his Orchestrion project, while always sidestepping the limits of any one genre.

Metheny will be joined by Antonio Sanchez (drums percussion), Linda Oh (bass) and Gwilym Simcock (piano, keyboards). Wednesday, September 21. 7:30 PM. Chautauqua Auditorium. Concert member pre-sale underway now.

Ride the free HOP 2 Chautauqua to concerts this summer

Established in 1898, the Colorado Chautauqua was developed without consideration of automobile use and has extremely limited parking within the park.

Join us in being part of the solution to help reduce congestion and “be green” by riding the HOP 2 Chautauqua, a free transit service to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events

All HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttles are ADA compliant “kneeling” buses and begin running approximately two hours before every concert and run for 45 minutes after the show.
