Folk-pop duo The Weepies (Deb Talan and Steve Tannen) have perfected the comforting synthesis of husky vocals and springy guitar, making any combination of words and melodies shine like gold. ANDREW BIRD – AUGUST 10 & 11

with Neyla Pekarek of The Lumineers

Pitchfork Magazine has noted Andrew Bird as “easily one of the best violinists ever to devote himself to popular music…” With a sound that isn’t easy to categorize, his songs are orchestral and somewhat classical, but also distinctly American — part of a new wave of folk.
