Chautauqua Café Grand Opening

As part of Chautauqua’s commitment to historic preservation, the Colorado Chautauqua is reconstructing the historic 1899 Chautauqua Café. The Café, based on archival photographs, will benefit the thousands of visitors who cherish and adore the Chautauqua National Historic Landmark. Its tented seating area has prime Foothills views and will be a great place to enjoy ice cream, coffee, salads and sandwiches from the General Store.

To celebrate the opening of the 1899 Café in style, join us for holiday weekend entertainment from Mile High Brass Band, refreshments, free ice cream and activities for children under 12. Add more musical fun to your outing by combining the opening with Colorado Music Festival’s 11 AM performance of “Tubby The Tuba” at Chautauqua Auditorium.

Schedule:

12:00 PM Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Chautauqua Café (Between Dining Hall and General Store)

12:15 PM Mile High Brass Band, ice cream social, children’s activities, adult refreshments available
