Enjoy Colorado Chautauqua’s first ever public art project on display throughout the grounds now until May 1, 2021. “These 15 whimsical bear cubs showcase the talents of local artists, promote the work of local nonprofits, and acknowledge the generosity of local sponsors.” explains Debbie Stewart, Chautauqua Director of Development. The cubs will be auctioned to raise funds for the artists, nonprofit partners, and the Colorado Chautauqua. Bidding for the cubs will coincide with the start of Boulder’s Arts Week on March 26, 2021.
In addition to the live auction, the community can visit Chautauqua and participate in fun activities for all ages!
Three of the bears will be going on a field trip for one week to Business Champions of Boulder Arts Week, including Galvanize, Organic Sandwich Company, and R Gallery. You can see these bears after visiting their friends at Chautauqua!
