AscenDance Project performs choreographed movement on a climbing wall. Without ropes or suspension, the dancers use sheer strength to overcome gravity with style and fluidity. The evening’s concert will feature dances inspired by the athletic demands of our Front Range Mountains and the lyricism of our natural setting. The troupe has given numerous performances across the nation and, since their appearance on NBC’s "America’s Got Talent," has received international recognition and a strong following. AscenDance Project relocated from San Francisco to Boulder, CO in 2012. The grace of rock climbing inspired artistic director and founder Isabel von Rittberg to combine her passions: climbing, dance and music. She is proud to perform with a group of strong and talented local athletes. AscenDance adds a sensational and exhilarating element to the world of entertainment.
