The Terrace is a lovely flagstone patio with a wrought-iron railing. It overlooks a garden with a brick path and has a gorgeous view of the Flatirons and a partial view of downtown Boulder. It makes an elegant setting for an outdoor corporate reception, a small luncheon, or a wedding ceremony.
The Terrace is partially covered with a canopy during the summer months. A limited number of tables and chairs are available, but depending on the size of your group, most may need to be rented. The Terrace is not wheelchair accessible; it is reached by a short flight of stairs. Restrooms for the Terrace are located nearby, beneath the Dining Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: The Terrace can only be rented on dates when the Auditorium is not in use, so events for May through October may only be booked after the Auditorium schedule is finalized, usually not until late April of each year.
Rental fee for the Terrace is $100 per hour, with a four-hour minimum. For information about permissible event decorations, food, alcohol, music/dancing, hours, parking, etc. at Terrace private events, please read our Conditions for Use.
